Description
War Memorial Stadium Complex is the largest sports and recreation facility in the Maui Parks system. Features include:
  • A 20,000 seat stadium Home of the Hula Bowl
  • A multipurpose gymnasium
  • An open air competition pool
  • A variety of recreational athletic fields
  • The 110 acre Ke'ôpûolani Park across the street.

Built in the 1950’s, War Memorial Stadium Complex is dedicated to the memory of Maui residents who have given their lives in military service. Located in Wailuku, the War Memorial Complex is the site of the Annual Maui County Fair and many large special events and sports competition.

Park size 51 square acres
Satoki Yamamoto track and field Regulation track and field in stadium bowl arena. Permanent concrete sideline and metal endzone grandstands. Portable bleachers and lawn area seating available.

Six square acres; permanent seating: 15,631; seating capacity: 20,000
Ball fields Includes three little league fields, side-by-side, each with backstop, dugouts, grass infield, and outfield fencing. Limited storage; no lighting. Open areas with dirt infield; no backstop or fencing.

Left wall: 195'; right wall: 170'
Gymnasium Four tennis courts; side-by-side practice courts or feature center court. Retractable bleachers expandable to 3,228 for various events; regulation outdoor facilities on north side of gym.

Full room: 161' x 123'; seating capacity: 2,892
Coach Sakamoto pool A regulation aquatics arena with excellent support facilities and a bulkhead added seasonally. Permanent bleachers on pool sidelines; limited shade seating; two shower / locker rooms; adjacent gymnasium services.

Dimensions: 50m x 70'
Ke'opuolani Regional Park Located across the street includes amphitheater, three ball fields, two soccer fields, and a central pavilion area with lighting. Variable sizes; limited seating and support.
Locker rooms Each contain shower facilities and one set of restrooms. Located between team locker rooms. May be locked.

Picnic areas None
Parking Variable to event with excellent traffic flow capabilities. The North and South log are adjacent east side of facility. East end has gravel lots without lighting. Primary access roads located in immediate area; optional with permission, .25 mile walk.

Public restrooms Five sets: Concourse of Gym, Little League Fields, Football Stadium, adjacent to Tennis Courts and Baseball Stadium.
Water Various locations have fresh water available from taps and fountains.
