Description
Hana is the garden treasure high atop Maui's Northern coast. No visit on island is complete without a scenic ride on the Road to Hana (Highway 36). Once you've arrived, Maui County Parks provide a variety of options for fun and recreation, and all county parks’ locations can be reached by following the road into Central Hana. Each year Hana hosts a number of special events like March’s Taro Festival—now in it's 10th year—celebrating the rich heritage of Maui's Taro Farmers; and in April, the Canoe Regatta, which marks the official opening of Maui’s Canoe Season. Hana is an ideal location for an all-day outing, experiencing the road at sunrise and park-supported events throughout the day.
