Lahaina Wastewater Reclamation Facility (WWRF) Process Evaluation
This comprehensive evaluation was implemented to develop a thorough understanding of the existing processing capabilities of the facility and evaluate operational and cost impacts of possible alternative upgrades. The process evaluation was not intended to answer a specific question such as "What is the capacity of the facility and what should be constructed in the future?" The evaluation was intended to establish quantitative impacts of various alternatives so future decisions can be made appropriately.
- First Phase - Identified existing facility operational aspects and developed rough alternatives for upgrade/expansion.
- Second Phase - Expanded analysis of selected alternatives.
- Final Phase - Developed schematic design and operational information, including projected costs for the selected alternatives.
