Public Services Committee
Meetings:
Public Services Committee meetings are held in the Council Chamber at 9:00 am on the Wednesday prior to the first and the third Friday of each month; however, the schedule is subject to change. The Committee may also periodically schedule site inspections. Agendas, Minutes, and Other Documents:

Duties:
Public Services Committee duties include reviewing and considering:
• Operations of the Civil Defense Agency, the Department of Fire and Public Safety, the Department of Housing and Human Concerns, the Department of Liquor Control, the Department of Police, the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney, and the Department of Transportation.
• Social services programs and related grants, including grants of interests in real property.
• Affordable housing programs, including expedited approvals of housing projects pursuant to State law.
