Community Budget Meetings
It is important for a government to have up-to-date information with which to evaluate community conditions and major issues that are integral to the development and achievement of goals.  In evaluating community condition, Maui County considers local, regional, national, and global factors affecting the community, including:
  • Economic and financial factors
  • Demographic trends
  • Legal or regulatory issues
  • Social and cultural trends
  • Physical (e.g. community development) or environmental  factors
  • Intergovernmental issues
  • Technological change

Maui County regularly collects and evaluates information about trends in community condition, the external factors affecting it, opportunities that may be available, and problems and issues that need to be addressed. In order to have an understanding of the issues and trends affecting our community, the following meetings are scheduled:

Attendees will be given a form upon arrival at the meeting to determine their needs, and which department(s) their comments pertain to. You can also email the completed form to Budget Office
