Residential Recycling Chart
To find out which items are recyclable, view our Residential Recycling Guidelines Chart.
Please remove recyclables from the container you brought them in and then recycle that bag or box in the right drop box.
Illegal DumpingIt is illegal to dump appliance and bulky items on roadsides or at the recycling centers. Illegal dumping is unsightly and may be dangerous to public health and safety. Violators will be prosecuted. Report illegal dumping to the Maui Police Department at (808) 244-6400, and to the State of Hawaii Department of Health at (808) 984-8230.
Curbside RecyclingMaui County does not currently provide curbside pick up of recyclables. Check the list of
Recycling Partners to contact businesses that may provide that services to your home for a fee. Many of these businesses also provide recyclable collection for businesses of all kinds, condos, and resorts.
